Sidebar - Modules, Text
For example, I'd like to include my "donate" module or some other module with text that already exists on the site, or some text that I enter for that partcular list, entered in the component, without having to alter the template every time. Not sure how it could be done, but other Newsletter components are able to do it (eg Vemod).
And I just discovered that you have to enter your Facebook and Twitter integraton with every campaign. Shouldn't that be a permanent thing, added somewhere in the parameters?

Including modules on the other hand is a bit trickier due to the extreme variety in functionality that modules can have. One of the next steps that we will take is to give you the option to add anything via a WYSIWYG to the sidebar. This way you could duplicate an already sent campaign where you have included your donate button once, and wouldn't have to do it again.
Another way would be to hardcode it into your template. Send us your template and donate button infos if you would like some help with it.

Great about the Twitter, Facebook etc.
Some kind of sidebar text would be great, maybe with an option of a hosted image? Or the user puts all that into an article and pulls it into the sidebar the way web articles can be? I have my donate button as a text module, but it could just as easily be put into an article.
I think for many DIY website designers, templates can be a bit hard with little HTML or PHP knowledge (hence the widespread use of Joomla)... not a biggie for me, but more hassle. The more transparent and easy for the end user, the better, surely?
I think that the main issue is if you only have one or two articles, the sidebar is full of whitespace. There may be alternative phone numbers contact names, a company objective or other things that would fit nicely into what could be a relatively empty sidebar.
Thanks for your attention to this!

Surely if you can include an article in the body of the email, you could also include an article in the sidebar, no?
Vemod doesn't integrate with MailChimp (when last I looked) so there aren't MailChimp limitations, if that's the problem.
I do love your component though!

oh i understand that, i was hoping an admin would look into it. cause its definitely possible and it would seriously make jommailer's mailchimp component kick butt.
