sign up module text for existing subscribers

Hi. I have noticed an issue with the mod_mailchimpsignup module.
When an existing subscriber tries to resubscribe (assuming that they've forgotten that they've already subscribed) they are still showed the following message 'Thank you! Please check your email and confirm the newsletter subscription' - and of course the confirmation email never arrives since they're already subscribed.

If I embed the standard mailchimp signup form code on my site and an existing user tries to subscribe they see the following message instead 'email@email.com is already subscribed to list'.....This is a much better response to existing users - is it possible to replicate this behaviour in the mod_mailchimpsignup module?

This is a very valid point! We'll look into this. Expect it to be fixed in one of the next versions. (I can't promise that it will make it in the very next version.)
