Unknown sender for new signups and jumps to form was created by code7webdesign
Hi
Just installed this here: www.code7webdesign.co.uk/
All works but the first email that gets sent to confirm the subscription with a link is from 'unknown sender', although details are all correct
Second email once I have clicked on the link to confirm, is fine and comes from the correct sender.
Sign up if you like to see it, its a new list so I can remove you afterwards.
Also, when you press 'subscribe' the page jumps down to the form?
thanks
Daniel

Hello Daniel,
These email settings are controlled by MailChimp. I suppose the from address is not set up properly for this list. Please log in to the MailChimp web interface and go to lists in the top menu. Then select 'settings' below the list name and click 'list name and defaults'. This is where you set up the from name.
If that doesn't help please get in touch with the MailChimp support. They should be able to help you with that: kb.mailchimp.com/
If you don't want that the page scrolls to the beginning of the signup form when pressing submit please edit the file /modules/mod_mailchimpsignup/tmpl/default.php and remove line 92 and 93. We will remove that in the next update as well.
Kind regards,
Pete

Thanks for very quick reply
I found it in Mailchimp after a bit of digging around, it was in the 'Customize Your Double Opt-in Signup Process' settings under 'Create forms', I didn't have the details in the double opt in email, only the thank you one.
Removing those lines worked perfectly as well!
Thanks again, great component by the way, very useful
