Registered e-mail is pre-entered into the submit box. was created by Sephie
Hi all,
Great component! It seems to be working fine, however something weird is going on.
I'm currently testing the subscription module by making is visible to logged in users only, and logging in is only possible for select users, not for the 'public.'
The signup module displays my e-mail address in the text field when out of focus. When I submit that e-mail address I get the JS popup:
"my_email@site.com is required." followed by "Invalid Email Address:" in the box.
This is likely due to the fact that I'm already registered, but would this also happen if the site would get user registration in the future?
Either way, I suppose it's a bug, so maybe someone else has experienced similar issues?

Hi Sephie,
That sounds like a bug indeed. I need to look into it and will get back to you shortly.
Kind regards,
Pete

I have just sent you a new version of the module. Please let me know how it works so we can include this fix in the next version.
Kind regards,

Thanks for the quick work!
The e-mail address is still pre-entered, but I think that's a good thing. The button now correctly adds the address to the mailing list!
After refreshing, the address is still/again vvisible, and after submitting the same address again, it "succeeds" again, but I haven't received any mail so far. Does the module have a way of checking if the address is already subscribed? The field could change to a "manage newsletter subscription" button or maybe disappear altogether.
Anyway, thanks again!
Tom
