SOLVED: Sign Up Module Does Nothing! was created by normski
Good morning!
I have just installed Joomailer for Mail Chimp and have set up the component with my API key etcc. and users added via the component are added nicely to the list at Mailchimp so the component is clearly working.
However, I have the module enabled on my test site but pressing the subscribe button literally does nothing!
Having checked the "getting started" section of the Joomailer Site, I believe I have done everything obvious.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing but it makes no difference. What have I missed please?

Solved this almost as quickly as I posted, thanks.
For anyone else, I hadn't highlighted at least one option (email, first name or last name for my setup) in the module configuration.

Hello normski,
Yeah, thats right. To subscribe to a newsletter list you have to supply at least your email address We'll make email selected by default in the next version to avoid that possible confusion.
Cheers

Hello Normski,
I tried all this but still the button isn't working.
What else can I try?
Grts,
Steven

Hah, I was stumped by this too. I would add to the help text in the popup for that item that you need to select these items, that the fact that they are listed doesn't mean that the are active.
Thanks!
Herb
