users registration fields not working

Hi, (should be in the registration plugin section but cannot move it there)

If I go to users administration in Joomla and open a user details
there is a newsletter fields tab where the information about the user I collect for Mailchimp is gathered
Mandatory fields are set to the extra fields defined in Mailchimp (adress, tel, name)

They don't show in joomla and every time I change a users details I have to fill in the same information again to be able to save any other info changed.
Why doesn't it show and stay in the users tab?

It's annoying and I have to check the info every time I make any changes to be able to save changes
