Mailchimp joomlamailer is not installing was created by gmangandan

I have downloaded the joomlamailer mailchimp and when try to install, its not installing
Gives error "Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package."

Joomla version is: 1.5.25

Hello gmangandan,

Joomla 1.5 reached its end of life in September 2012. You should update your site asap as it is probably highly vulnerable. Joomlamailer and most other Joomla extensions do not support Joomla 1.5 anymore.
