Hi, i have set up the joomailer on the website I am working on, www.aalisg.org and i have several problems.

First, no one can subscribe : if someone complete the subscritpion form and click on subscribe (I translated it in french, now it is "S'abonner"), nothing happens. Everything seems to be blocked.

Second I would like to translate the field Email address and eventually First name and Last name if deployed in the integrated subscription form on my website but I do not see wich files should be translated.

If anyone can help me I would be very gratefull.

Regards.

P.S. Please forgive my poor english.

joomlamailer version: 1.7.2
Joomla! version: 2.5.6
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.0

FYI - I was getting the same issue across all my client accounts when upgraded from Joomla 1.7. You need to be sure that within your MailChimp account the sign-up form associated with your mailing list only has "email address" designated as a required field and nothing else. This fixed the problem for all my client accounts and everything continues to work just fine.

Thank you for your reply but I am not shure about what you are talking about.

If you are talking about the sign-up module which is displayed on my website then on the back end side the required fields can be choosen between Last Name, First name and E-mail adbress. If you are talking about the plugin Joomlamailer MailChimp Sign Up the the required fields can be choosen between Last name and First name, I can not see E-mail address, but perhaps it is perfectly normal.

Reading your message it seems that you are in fact talking about the characteristics of my sign up form associated with my list "WITHIN" my MailChimp account. The problem is that I do not know where exactly to configure it. is it ine the Joomla administration or on the mailChimp webiste ? And where exactly.

Thank you in advance for your reply and even if you do not reply thank you very much.

Within your Mailchimp account ...Go to "Lists", select "View", the select "Create Form", in here the on the drop down menu above the design box, under "Subscribe" select "Signup Form". This is where you can custom configure the form, content and look. I found this to be the problem area. I deselected all fields I originally designated to be required. The only one required is email. To see the form working...go to www.insideoutretreats.com . Hope this helps you.

I ran into this same issue with another module "mailchimp2" and had the same issue... again, editing the form within MailChimp itself fixed the problem.

I must also clarify that I am using this as the module application within my side panel for quick sign-ups. The full form opens after the subscriber confirms their email.

FYI...If you choose to test the mailing list subscription here... just remove yourself when you get the confirmation email.
