Signup Modules Not Doing Anything

I installed this component about a month ago and everything was working fine until yesterday. When clicking the subscribe button I can see that the button clicks, but nothing happens. I don't even get the spinning wheel that others have described.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with a fresh version of the component to no avail. I also eliminated apostrophes in the text and tried using the www and not in the url.

Nothing on the site has changed since installing the script originally except adding two articles. So I'm not sure why it would stop working suddenly. Super appreciate if someone could take a look at it for me.

Any help with this? Or maybe some guidance of what I should look at?
