Submission gives spinning wheel but no progress

Good morning

I have been using Joomailer and Campaign Monitor extensively on Joomla installations for over 12 months and to date do not recall ever having suffered any issues with getting the various modules and plugins to work .

I have in the last few days transfered a site from development space to a live domain and the subscription module has immediately stopped working.

The module on the devspace site still works perfectly.

I have tried every fix I could find in these forums, uninstalled and manually removed any trace of Joomailer from the site, changed the Mailchimp API etc. and made sure that all settings are exactly as per the devsite.

However, when submitting infomation through the subscribe module, I still get the never ending spinning wheel and nothing else.

After spending over 10 hours of tinkering etc. I really cannot think of anything else to try.

Any ideas please?

So, in digging deeper into the forums, it looks like I have the cross scripting problem that Pete describes here:

I'm having some write access problems with configuration.php, but I'm hopeful I'll get this figured out soon.

Restarting everything now to try to remove my $live_site from configuration.php...
