Hi there
Same set up, same problem. No plug in or module to be found.
Thanks
Tim

Here's the message returned during the installation:
ERROR: Could not install the Joomlamailer Signup component. Please install manually.
Shere can I find this to install it manually?

I solved this by doing a second install of the .zip on top of the first - don't delete the first just install it twice - and it all came to life.
Nothing in the forums about this from the developers. Shame.

Hello,
Please excuse the late response. As Tim figured out installing the component again usually fixes this error. This problem could also be caused by the restore points system in certain versions of akeeba backup. Upgrading akeeba to the latest version or using the normal joomla installer and installing the component again also should solve this issue.
Kind regards,
Pete
