Problem with Interest Groups

joomlamailer version: 1.7.2
Joomla! version: 1.7.0
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.1.52

I setup the module which has an interest group within the list. This is made up of two groups (within mailchimp) where it is setup with a checkbox layout so people can choose to sign up to more than one newsletter at the same time. It displays properly on the module however when I go to click the checkboxes, nothing happens. You can have a look on the site www.ezraministry.org.nz

Hello James,

The problem with the checkboxes is caused by your template. It is replacing the checkboxes with background images but doesn't seem to trigger an action when the boxes are checked to replace the images with one of a checked box. If you change to one of the default Joomla templates you'll see that the module works. You need to get in touch with the developer of your template to ask him why the checkboxes' background images don't change when checked.

P.S. About your second question: On the send page you have segmentation options, which allow you to send only to a selected group of people within your list. For example if you have an interest group "favorite sports" with options of "hockey, soccer, baseball" you can send a newsletter to all subscribers with favorite sport = hockey.

Thanks Pete, you're the man! I found the problem - anyone else who uses RocketTheme templates, you need to disable "Input Styling" within the "Advanced" menu of the template manager.

Thats great news about the segmentation function also. I was scared I was going to have to create multiple lists.
