404 - Component not found from menu item

joomlamailer version: 1.7
Joomla! version: 1.6.3
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.0.91

I added menu items to Review Subscriptions and Manage Subscriptions. Both of these give a "404 - Component not found" message when I click on them. The "Archive" menu item gives a message "No newsletter sent so far".

I have reinstalled. I have removed the menu items, then manually cleaned the mysql database, then re-created the menu items. Still get the 404 error.

I have checked permissions. Currently the menu items are public but they are in a section of the site that can only be accessed by the manager group.

Any idea what I need to do to get these menu items working?
