Functionality with K2 was created by mercwonder
We have a client that is needing an email to go out to approximately 3800 subscribers every time an article is submitted through a Joomla site using k2 system. This would take place approximately 5-10 times a day. So essentially a journalist would make a k2 entry, then once the moderator approves the article we need the email to be sent to the subscribers automatically. Is this something that Joomlamailer.com can handle?
Thank you,
Jason

Hello Jason,
This is not exactly possible how you describe it. Joomlamailer can not be triggered to send a newsletter by creating K2 articles. You still have to go into Joomlamailer and click "create campaign". Then you have to enter the campaign settings (subject line etc) and add the new K2 article to the newsletter. Once you press save you are taken to the send page from where you can send it off.
Kind regards,
Pete

Hi, I'm glad it's working now.
Some latency is completely normal as Joomlamailer needs to communicate with the MailChimp servers. However, this should take less than 15 seconds (generously said). When you refresh the reports page it should be much faster as the data is cached.
Kind regards,
Pete
