Can't display interest groups was created by erichf2
joomlamailer version:
Joomla! version:2.5.7
PHP version:5.3.17
MySQL version:
The component installed fine and appears to be functional. I've entered my API key and the system is accessing my account and displays my various mailing lists. However, I need to be able to display a single mailing list with it's multiple interest groups so that users only have to subscribe to what they're interested in.
Is this possible?
Thanks
Erich

Hi Erich,
This is easily possible with the signup module which is automatically installed with the Joomlamailer package. Go to the module manager and edit the module "MailChimp Signup". Here you can select a mailing list and the interest groups you want to display. Select a template position and set the module to published.
Kind regards,
Pete

Thanks Pete. As usual, I should have been more specific. The module allows me to select from groups so that is working fine, but when I create a menu entry pointing to Manage Subscriptions, it shows all mailing lists and no groups. Since our mailchimp account has some mailing lists that aren't public (board members, previous years mailing lists for example), we only want to show one mailing list and it's associated groups.

Ah, I see. This is not possible in the current version. I'll put it on the todo list so that you can select lists in the menu item params.

It would be great if it showed up in a future release. The module is good at allowing people to select relevant groups so you just have to work that code into the component and it will be great.
Thanks
