joomlamailer version: 1.7.2
Joomla! version: 2.5.6
PHP version: 5+
MySQL version: I don't know, but the latest one possible I am sure.

I have installed the component on our new Joomla site.

But, when I try to send a test campaign/newsletter or send one out officially, it always gives me this error code:

Invalid content! (The HTTP server returned an error code. Only a 2xx response is acceptable.) (Error: The HTTP server returned error code "0". Only a 2xx response is acceptable: elearning2.hct.ac.ae/administrator/compo.../archive/Test_4.html )

Does anyone here know why this would be? Is this a bug with the component, or some setting or thing I need to set/change?

thanks
M

Hi guys,

Sorry for the late response. The problem is that your newsletters can not be retrieved from Mailchimp. If you click on the link in the error message you should see the newsletter in the browser. Probably the archive directory is not accessible over the internet. Please open the Joomlamailer dashboard and click on Options in the top right corner. Then enter "/newsletter" in the field "Archive directory". Then create a directory "newsletter" in your Joomla root directory. Assign permissions so that PHP is allowed to write files in this directory (usually 755 but it depends on your server configuration). When you are done try to send a test newsletter. Let me know if it still won't work.

Kind regards,
Pete

Hi,
I have had the same issue and tried your suggested fix which works, but the template will not show my header images.
How can I address this?

cheers
George

Hi George,

I suppose your admin directory is password protected. As this is where the templates are stored the images can not be accessed in some cases. I put it on the todo list that we need to copy the images to the archive directory when creating the campaign. In the meantime you either have to remove the password protection or exclude the following directory from the protection:
Code:
/administrator/components/com_joomailermailchimpintegration/templates

Further information about how to allow access to certain directories can be found here: blog.justin.kelly.org.au/exclude-filedir...s-from-apache-htacc/

Kind regards,
Pete
