CB registration not adding to list

after much configuring, i finally got my CB site to work with this extension. sorta...

A new user can register for the site, the CB registration field is mapped via interest group to the "add me to the newsletter" field that is generated with the plug in is enabled.

in global settings - i am allowing user registration and new user account activation

emails are being generated via Community Builder/Joomla to verify site registration but NOT email newsletter list registration confirmation

There is no email being generated to verify the newsletter subscription as happens when registering for the newsletter via the module. The module works great. The CB field plug in that is automatically created with the plugin publish is not working right on my site to generate the confirmation email.

even if i create my own CB field for registration (not using the default "add me" that is generated with plugin) -- it is not working and adding the newly registered and CONFIRMED user to the mailing list. neither the plug in nor the custom field are adding user to list - even after confirming site registration, much less email newsletter subscription confirmation (as the email to do so is not generated)


Suggestions? I can give superadmin access if needed.
