not able to login on account from within joomla!site

joomlamailer version: 1.7.2
Joomla! version: 1.7.3
PHP version: 5.2 10
MySQL version:5.1.50

I did create an account on mailchimp.com, and I'm able to login and set up data using the account.
However when trying to login on the mailchimp-account from within my joomla site, using the correct username & password, the login does not succeed. (: ....Sorry, we couldn't find your account...)

Can you help me out on this issue?
