Lots of Quirks, Corrupt Installation? was created by theandygram
joomlamailer version: 1.7.2
Joomla! version: 1.5.22
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.1.56
Browser versions tried: IE 9, FF 9.0.1, Opera 11.6
I am experiencing a number of really annoying problems using Joomlamailer.
This has been such a buggy few weeks trying to use this but that seems strange because no one else seems to be having these problems. Should I just reinstall this? If so, what are the proper steps to do that? Uninstall first? Over-install?
Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Andy

I am experiencing a number of really annoying problems using Joomlamailer.
- Interface is very sluggish and slow with an interval of 10-20 seconds before the HTML editor for the intro text field comes up;
- Module loses HTML in intro text field after page reloads for re-display of loading of K2 items;
- Doing the following steps is cumbersome and I'm curious if the module is supposed to behave like this when trying to accomplish this: display k2 articles/change category of k2 articles/change number of items displayed in that k2 listing
After each of the steps listed above the page reloads and I then need to close the regular items displayed and reload the k2 items that get displayed. This just feels very clunky. - Unable to use intro text box in FF or IE. When I try to place cursor into intro text box nothing happens, when I try and select the html editor, nothing happens. I am only able to enter text in that box using Opera;

I've just installed Joomlamailer and I've got the same problem with Chrome.
By the look of it, I'll need the Intro box to put most of my HTML for a newsletter. When I select an article and check Intro only, it shows the whole article. Well, still finding my way around. But at the moment, the templating of Mailchimp itself is looking more versatile.
