Joomla! version:1.5.24

I am unable to add multiple articles.

Example:

I may select and article from the current view and then opt to run a filter to select another article the first article is not included into the newsletter when I do a preview. Even if I save after each selection only the most recent selection is included in the newsletter.

Additional I selected just the intro to be published and it publishes the entire article.

Please advise what I'm doing incorrectly
