How to remove people from the list

I deleted 550 users from my Joomla/CB User lists, and then deleted everyone from my JoomlaMailer/Mailchimp list so I could import the good names only, as instructed in one of the other Forum posts.

The problem, is that the original 848 users are listed when go to the "Add to MailChip" option.

How can I get rid of those extra users and only access the ones that are the 278 good users listed in my User Manager?

thanks

Nothing, huh? So I'm going to need to disable Joomlamailer, and manually export/import the users into MailChimp each time?
It sure seems like I must be missing something, but I'm not seeing it.
I'm holding off on writing about this problem with Joomlamailer on my Joomla blog until I'm sure it's not something I'm overlooking. An answer of some sort would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hello bramsan,

Please excuse the late response. If the users still showed up in the "Add to MailChimp" list then they haven't been deleted properly from the Joomla site. This page pulls the users directly from the Joomla users table. I'm not sure what went wrong in your case but I'm quite sure that all users displayed in that list are still in the database table #__users (with #_ being a placeholder for the database prefix). Please open the Joomla user manager (not the CB user manager) and double check that the users have been removed. If that is the case please check your database directly using phpmyadmin and check if the users still appear in the table #__users.

Kind regards,
Pete

Thanks for the reply, but my Joomla Users and CB Users are exactly the same.
I could go in and mess with the MySql file, but I think it's easier in the long run to uninstall JoomlaMailer and just export the users to Mailchimp. It kind of defeats the purpose if I have to hack it every time I want to do a mailing.
I'll write about it on my Joomla Blog and see if any others are having the same experience. If so, I'll let you know.

Hello bramsan,

I didn't say you have to modify the database manually every time you send a newsletter. What I was saying is that if a user is deleted from the user manager he should also disappear from the "Add users to MC" page because both pull the users from the very same database table. If that is not the case there is something wrong and the users have not been deleted properly from the Joomla users database table.

Kind regards,
Pete

Thanks for the quick reply... I just checked my User database in Myphp and it matches the count exactly that is showing up in Joomla and CD Users, 358 users.

When I go to import in Joomlamailer there is something like 858, so it's clear something is wrong, but it doesn't appear to be the Joomla or Community Builder database.

Thanks
