unable to install component --> gives error was created by lvs
joomlamailer version: 1.7.2
Joomla! version: 1.5.23
PHP version: 5.2.13
MySQL version: 5.0.92-community-log

When I install the joomlamailer component , I get the following error.

JFTP::write: Bad response
Unable to write entry
Error Loading ModulesMySQL server has gone away SQL=SELECT id, title, module, position, content, showtitle, control, params FROM testdata_modules AS m LEFT JOIN testdata_modules_menu AS mm ON mm.moduleid = m.id WHERE m.published = 1 AND m.access <= 2 AND m.client_id = 1 ORDER BY position, ordering

Anyone has an idea?

Replied by lvs on topic unable to install component --> gives error
I deactivated the Joomla FTP layer and was able to install without error !!!
