Super-Admins Being Automatically Unsubscribed from Mailing Lists

Hi

Having installed JoomlaMailer, we sent out a test newsletter to all our members. Everything worked fine except for three of our four Super-Admins being automatically unsubscribed from the newsletter without ever receiving it.

I'm sure it is just a configuration error at our end, but I can't work out what it is. The three Super-Admins who did not receive the mail seem to have the same settings as the one who did. We have worked around it by contacting them and having them resubscribe to the newsletter through MailChimp registration, but would like to know why it happened in case of the issue repeating for any new Super-Admins.

Other than this, am extremely impressed with the component.

The only possible explanation that comes to my mind is that their emails bounced. In that case MailChimp will automatically unsubscribe them from your list to keep your list clean. Please check your reports to see if they appear as bounced. However, this is not caused by joomlamailer. The MailChimp support should be able to help you figure out what's going on: kb.mailchimp.com/

Thanks for the reply. They didn't bounce. They were unsubscribed. One of the problem newsletters was sent to my email address as I am one of the Super-Admins. I was surprised I didn't receive it so checked in the back end why and it saw that my email address had been unsubscribed, as had two of the other three Super-Admins. The third, however, received the newsletter.

We had five bounces and one legitimate unsubscribe, so I saw the difference between the two types. Weird!

I'll try the MailChimp support.
