joomlamailer version:1.7
Joomla! version:1.5.22
PHP version:5.5
MySQL version:Not sure
Hello,
When I view the Dashboard under account details it says Trial. Does this mean my use of joomlamailer is going to run out and I'll need to pay to carry on using it? If yes, when does it run out and how much will I have to pay please.
Many thanks,
Neil.

Hi Neil,
The trial status refers to your MailChimp account. No worries, joomlamailer is free and will stay free. I'm not exactly sure what limitations the MailChimp trial status implies but basically it means you have recently signed up for a free account and have not sent any large campaigns yet. For more details please get in touch with the MailChimp support.
We will remove the trial and approval status from the dashboard in the next version. They don't have any influence on what you can or can not do in joomlamailer and so they are rather confusing.
Kind regards,
Pete

Hi Pete,
Thanks again for your very quick reply. I'm glad to hear Joomlamailer is going to stay free. It's an absolutely brilliant plugin/component for Joomla to send out HTML mailers.
I had been using Acajoom which used the hosting server to send email (I believe). Aparantly using the server to send email is not a good idea. If some of your emails get marked as spam, your hosting server IP address can get blacklisted by the likes of Google etc whereas using the likes of MailChimp combined with Joomlamailer to send HTML mailers is a more robust method.
Thanks for the all of the hard work you must have put in on the plugin and for making it available to everyone.
Best wishes,
Neil.
