Connecting to SugarCRM

joomlamailer version: 1.7
Joomla! version: 1.5.23
PHP version: 5.2.17
MySQL version: 5.1.56-community-log

I have installed the Joomlamail component and have this connected to MailChimp without any problems. I have just installed SugarCRM on my server but JoomlaMail tells me 'Unable to connect to SugarCRM! Possibly invalid login credentials. Please verify.'

I have checked that I can login to SugarCRM using the details that I have setup in Parameters, no problem. I have twice entered the details into JoomlaMailer including trying the URL with the index.php extension.

I have set SugarCRM to Yes within the plugin.

At the moment I am setting this up on my own site but it is just as a test for a customer. There are no subscribers to the list, other than myself.

I have had a look at your site to see if I could find documentation on configuring the link to SugarCRM but couldn't find anything.

You must enter the URL of your SugarCRM site without index.php and without trailing slash. Is this what you have tried?

I had actually tried every conceivable variation of the URL. Just tried again making sure that there was nothing after the sugarCRM sub directory, still no joy. Don't know if it is significant but it is hosted on a Linux Server and the directory name is sugarCRM.

Is there any password protection on the sugarcrm folder?

Can you send me a superadmin login and ftp credentials to your site? Then I could figure out at which line of the code it fails.
