Possible bug - Interestgroups was created by tas@trekanten.org
I get an error "list_invalidinterestgroup" when trying to use segmentation on my campaign.
I think the reason is that I'm using < and > (lt & gt) in my group name.
I had the same problem myself when writing to the mailchimp API.
My solution was to ensure UTF-8 encoding when posting the interest group name to the API.
Please help.
Best regards,
Theis

Hello Theis,
I don't think it has to do with the name since joomlamailer uses internally the ID and not the name when submitting to MailChimp. There must be something else causing that error.
Could you please supply some more information about the interest groups you are using? Are they mapped to JomSocial or Community builder fields? What is their data type? What are the exact names and how did you create them? In joomlamailer or directly in the Mailchimp web interface?
Kind regards,
Pete

Hi Pete,
They are not mapped to JomSocial og Community Builder (we don't use these systems).
They are both checkboxes.
They where created from mailchimp.com
They are called:
- "Våben"
values: "Kårde", "Sabel", "Fleuret".
- "Gruppe"
values: "Marchez (<16)"; "Ungdom (16-24)", "Voksen (>24), "Fitness (alle)", "Passiv (alle)", "Fjernmedlemskab (alle)"
thanks,
Theis
