Saving a campaign and edit introduces facebook link error was created by adminbe
Hi
A word of warning if you create a campaign, save as a draft and then edit it, and use a facebook, make sure you check the sidebar facebook link code.
The save and edit seems to introduce some unwanted characters into the link address
so
www.facebook.com/FACEBOOKPAGE/2F270404370611
turns into
http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fpages%2FFACEBOOKPAGE%2F270404370611
we only noticed this after sending out a list to over 900 people, fortunately we wrote a redirect in the hta access file to redirect the dead url to the facebook page.
May need investigating and until Joomailer staff have moved into the new offices, a manual eye out on this bug, when sending newsletters.
cheers

I just had the same issue happen upon editing and then saving and sending an email. The link that is in the sent email directs to:
I can't seem to get a redirect working (wondering if using sh404sef is the reason.. This is what the page actually says:
Perhaps something needs to be looked at in terms of how it embeds the facebook page code.
Code:
http://domain.com/administrator/components/com_joomailermailchimpintegration/templates/templatename/http%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Ffacebookname

Code:
Not Found
The requested URL /administrator/components/com_joomailermailchimpintegration/templates/templatename/http://www.facebook.com/facebookname was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

sh404 shouldn't be a problem. I'll look into it. The issue will be fixed in the next version (1.7.1).
Kind regards,
