Changing Email Address Orphans User was created by flatmattj

Hello,
When a user needs to change their email address on our site it does not update in the list. I also then get a blank email with no name in the backend list view of the Component. The user basically has to resubscribe when they change their email and I have to check before sending a mailing to make sure that all the orphans are deleted before sending.
Is there anyway to have the email update for the user, or do I have to add some text explaining to re-subscribe?

Thanks or reporting this bug. Unfortunately this is bit of a complex issue as Mailchimp uses the email address as identifier for the subscribers, which can not be changed very easily. We're looking into it and try to figure out a way how to make it work. Please beare with us.
