Receive Code=232 error message in Jomsocial Profiles
So when I am logged into my Jomsocial account frontend and as a regular user who HAS NOT subscribed to the newsletter, I get this error when attempting to save my profile:
Unable to load listSubscribe()! Code=232 Msg=There is no record of the email address "myuser@mysite.com" in your account
If I click the checkbox on the profile edit page, I can then edit my profile, but I have to sign up for the newsletter - which I do not want to force on people. I can also subscribe a user from the backend and then they do not have to click the checkbox.
Any ideas on this?
Thanks!

Thanks again for reporting this issue. It's being investigated and we're going to release a fix for this matter. In the meantime I recommend to disable the signup plugin and use the signup module to allow your users to subscribe to your list.
Kind regards,
Pete

It is because joomlamailer find user is not in the subscribe list and try to unsubscribe him (in profile page, if checkbox of newsletter is uncheck, joomlamailer think you want to unsubscribe.), then break the saving process and display the 232 error.
I try to add a code like "if user is not in the subscribe list && task is editing profile, do the save action and not do the unsubscribe action". But I can not find where to put it.
I will post my solution when I fix it.

Any news or updates on this issue. We are using JomSocial 3.0 and we experiencing the same issue.
There are a number of posts on the JomSocial forum as well.
It would be great if JomSocial and JoomlaMailer could work together to resolve this issue once and for all. It seems to have been an issue for a long time.
Cheers

If I add the user manually in the backend to the list then the error goes away, until you look at another profile. It is as if all exisitng users are not being imported to the JoomlaMailer List.
