500 Internal Server Error on copy/replicate of campaign

Hi,
I'm using Joomla 1.5.15
Joomailer 1.1.1
Signup 1.6

When I try to 'copy' a campaign from the Dashbord or 'replicate' a campaign from the Campaigns tab,
I get a 500 Internal Server Error message.
I have mod-rewrite and SEO friendly URLs enabled, though I tested with these disabled and it made no difference.

Also on another note it seems that only SuperAdministrator can access the component via the backend ! Is it possible to allow Managers or Administrator access too?
And are there any plans for Frontend access ?

Thanks for all the good work,
Dave

Hello Dave,

You can allow access for Moderators and Administrators by editing the file administrator/components/com_joomailermailchimpintegration/admin.joomailermailchimpintegration.php
Simply remove line 18 to 24.
Frontend access is currently not planned because we have many things on the to-do list, which we want to integrate first. There will be a blog post about the roadmap posted shortly.

About the error, can you please post the url from the address bar of the page that shows the error. (You can also send it to me in a PM as it contains almost all info about your campaign).
Please also set error reporting to maximum in the global configuration and check if the page displays any error messages.

Kind regards,
Pete

Hi Pete,
Thanks for swift response.
In regards to Error; I start at:
www.transitionderby.co.uk/administrator/...ntegration&view=main

Select a previously sent campaign, and 'copy' link. I then get a 301 Error page as follows:
"Moved Permanently
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@transitionderby.co.uk and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

There is no change in the URL!
Set debug on and No debug info generated.
No Joomla error logs.
But the server error logs show:
"transitionderby.co.uk [Thu Sep 30 11:17:30 2010] [error] malformed header from script. Bad header=C%252Fspan%253E%2B%253C%252Fst: index.php, referer: www.transitionderby.co.uk/administrator/...mailchimpintegration "

Hope that helps

Dave.

Hm. It seems to be something you entered as intro text that's causing this error. Not sure what exactly though. Is it possible that you send me an superadmin login to take a look at it and try some things? Send the credentials to pete@freakedout.de That would help me figure things out because I cant seem to reproduce this error on our servers.

The problem was that you had the tinymce editor plugin disabled. In the current version Joomailer only checks if the tinymce files exist and not if it actually is enabled. This will be fixed in the next version.

Also, you can only copy campaigns which have been created in Joomailer and not by using the MailChimp web interface.

Kind regards,
Pete
