I have one list. And this list has groups that i need to have the user pick from. The plugin does not recognize my groups for the list.

Am i missing something?

Ok after saving it and going back in, the group was listed. BUt i have a new post in the "plugin" forum about the signup form not appearing even with all enabled and installed.

Hi we are looking into it. Could you give us some more details please, like what template you are using for example. We will post as soon as we find out what might cause this.

Thank you,

Alexis

I am using GavickPro "The World News" template.

Am i correct in assuming that once the plugin was enabled that a new field would be added to the registration page or module? Is there more i should do beyond enable it and pick the group to show in the plugin?

Ok I disabled the template overrides. It now appears on registration as I had hoped.

But when i try to use it I get this error upon new user registration:

Warning: require_once(/home/bodywork/public_html/components/com_joomailermcsignup/joomailermcsignup.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/bodywork/public_html/libraries/joomla/application/component/helper.php on line 162

hmm interesting. Are you using the core registration form or a third party registration form?

I let the site be public for now, though hiding the links to login, but you can check the site out www.BodyWorkAds.com .

I have disabled the mailchimp plugin as it caused the errors mentioned above.

We're on top of this but it might take us some days because we need to rewrite a big part of the code to make it work with all the different template systems and configurations. Please bear with us.

Yes, If you use the Joomla core registration the plugin will add the fields to the form. If you use Jomsocial or CommunityBuilder these fields have to be created in these components and enabled to be mandatory on registration. Then you can add these fields to your lists in the joomailer component by going to "Lists" and click "Manage Groups".

Kind regards,
Pete
