K2 Articles not displaying

Just want to say, can't wait to start using Joomailer! Great extension, just what I was hoping for! However...

I just installed K2 and when I first went into the Content section, I had a new accordion 'K2' show up underneath 'Joomla Articles' to allow me to add K2 articles into my newsletters - Great!

My first issue is that when adding a K2 article to a new campaign, the article wouldn't show up in the preview - I could only see the intro text or native joomla articles being merged into the content. I was in the process of trying to work out why when I suddenly lost the 'accordion K2 Article' option altogether and have been unable to work out why it disappeared or how to get it back.

I've reinstalled both K2 and updated to the latest Joomailer - neither fixed the problem.

The only thing I recall doing before it disappeared was selecting a native joomla category in the dropdown box (which of course would filter native articles). But I have since set the dropdown back to 'select a category' and also started completely new campaigns but the K2 articles have not reappeared.

Hope you can point me in the right direction!

I am not sure how or why but I've just gone back into Joomailer several days later and the K2 articles are showing both in the content area and the template preview.

problem resolved.

I have got the same problem. After changing a category in K2 menu, whole menu disapears. Now there is no 'K2 Accordion Article'. I reproduce it twice on two test servers (the same site).

sorry to hear you've got issues but somewhat relieved to know that someone else is having the same problem. I thought it had resolved but it depends on what I try to click on. This is what I have found:

I can create a newsletter if I select from ALL K2 items (e.g. don't try to filter for a specific K2 category)
I can create a newsletter if I filter to the first category level
If I try to filter to a subcategory under the first level, the K2 accordion menu disappears.

At this point, the only thing I can do to get it to come back is to log out of Joomla and then log back in again.

is this the same as what you are experiencing?

Hi Guys

I have the same issue too

When I select the k2 category filter the K2 accordian menu dissapears completely.
