Event Registration compatibility

Really love this component.
I am planning on using an Event Registration component like DT Register to have students book (and pay for) their slot on different courses. I was then hoping to use the MailChimp Autoresponders to send the relevant information - alng the lines of a reminder one week before, joining instructions/directions 2 days before and then a thank you/feedback email the next day. I guess the info needing to be sent from the registration component would only need to be Name, email and course date.
Is this possible with Joomlailer
Thanks in advance
Iain

joomlamailer supports currently the Joomla core registration, JomSocial and CommunityBuilder. Since DT Register is a commercial extensions and we don't own a copy I can't implement support for it. I'll get in touch with the developers to see if we can get a copy.
I'm happy that you like our product so much. Maybe I can draw your attention to my signature about how to show some love
Kind regards,
Pete

Thanks for the quick response. The autoresponder functionality in the registration component is, IMO, s a missing chunk of functionality - I will try and encourage the developers to "have a word" with you!! Will defo be spreading the love!!!
OK, looking at first principles the event registration component can automagically create a Joomla User Account for everyone who signs up to the course/event. Does Joomailer "sync" the users or does it send the info during the registration process. I guess what I am asking is that if Joomailer sync's the user then it should work exactly as i described - does that sound correct?
Cheers

You can add users manually to MailChimp from the joomlamailer backend. The signup plugin adds users during the registration.
How I see it in order to use Autoresponders along with DT Register you would need information about the selected course to be passed to MailChimp so that you can use this information as segmentation option when creating the autoresponders.
I contacted dth development. Got to wait for them to get back to me now...
Kind regards,
Pete

I emailed the DT Register guys and asked them to look out for your email (not sure it would have had any affect though). Did they get back you? If not, I am about to purchase the product so hopefully that will carry some weight (maybe)
Cheers
