Multiple instances of plugin? was created by methodworks
Hi!
We've got the plugin up and running but have run into an interesting scenario. We have 2 distinct types of users that will sign up at our site. Some need the plugin to fire on List 1 and have additional fields A,B, and C on the registration form. Others need it to fire on List 2 and have additional fields of X, Y and Z.
Is there a way to specify which list to use at the menu option level? Perhaps a clone of com_user that allows us to specify a list when we add a menu item?
This would allow us to set hidden links to specific signup pages for users or distinct registration forms depending on which list they should be added to and the data we need to gather.
Thoughts?
Pete

Hello Pete,
Sorry for the late response. I'm afraid this is currently not possible with joomailer. The signup plugin is designed to work with one list only.
Since the extension is released under a GPL license you can modify the code in any way or ask a developer to do it for you. If you send us a working solution we'll be happy to integrate it into our extension.
Kind regards,
Pete
